I found these extraordinary - and very beautiful - creations in the worm-eaten sub-structure of a Victorian table-top that has been languishing in the mill for a quarter of a century or more.....

I immediately associated them with spiders - or a spider - probably because the mill is not only a haven for bats and pigeons but, judging by their prevalence and the extent of their activity, it is plainly also a spider's heaven.

Am I right, can anybody tell me?
