Various things have happened during my long silence over the summer including the arrival of an unusual but insistent visitor.

I was doing things about the house one Saturday morning when I became aware of a constant banging at the gate.

I went out to find.............

...........this enormous sheep determined to get in!

It turned out that it was the pet sheep of Sue's yoga teacher that she could no longer manage.
Accordingly it was passed on to Brede next door to join her flock - as the better option to the factory.
Despite its cuddly appearance, and the collar round its neck, it proved to be a handful for Brede too with its tendency to violently head-butt all and sundry, including her genteel B&B guests!

The visit took place during July or August.

I haven't asked after his welfare recently!!
