I've said here before that aquilegia or columbine is endemic in our garden.
It is everwhere, self-sown and we love it.

After the daffodils they provide the sure sign that spring really has arrived.

And, after they are over they are rapidly replaced by our beds of geraniums.

But unfortunately, once they are over, they are replaced by very little but they are wonderful while they are there.
