The unsightly pile of rubbish that has been sitting outside the mill since 'mill clearance day', which is over a month ago, is now............

...................in the skip.

We have another Ballyduff family get-together next weekend so I thought I should get rid of the eyesore before then.

It also occurred to me that if the children saw some of the things which we have discarded that there could be serious protest - I've discovered over the years that children (ours anyway) are even more sentimental about 'old things from our past' than we are ourselves!

And I should say that it is more than just a family get together: we are congregating for the launch of the book on John McGuinness TD, co-authored by Naoise, and we are being joined by my second most faithful blog commenter!

It has the makings of a great weekend!
