As I mentioned, the girls didn't like the ice and snow.

It also impacted on their egg laying.

However once the thaw came they began to get going again and on 27 December I collected the largest hen egg I have ever seen!

The one on the right is the miniature egg that was laid by one of them back in September 2010 (Sue refuses to throw it away and I live in fear of it being broken - or exploding!), the one in the middle is typical of their normal offerings and the one on the left is the 27 December effort!
